Maretron's NBE100 (Network Bus Extender) enables the extension of maximum node count, network trunk length, and cumulative drop length for NMEA 2000 networks. This device addresses bus errors and electrical problems arising from network specifications being exceeded, simplifying the design of large networks. With NMEA 2000 networks supporting a cap of 50 nodes, a trunk length of 200m, and a cumulative drop length of 78m, the NBE100 manages networks that surpass these limits by joining network trunks. By doing so, it divides the network into two electrical segments, allowing for a total of 100 nodes while maintaining seamless communication. Advanced message routing prioritizes high-priority messages while ensuring consistent and dependable network operations.
